Dean Taylor (35) from Atherton and Joe Platt have been picked from more than 18,000 site managers to receive a Quality Award from the National House Building Council's (NHBC) for their work at Gadbury Fold, off Atherleigh Way and The Point, West Derby.
Dean believes that such awards are growing in importance as quality becomes more of a focus for buyers looking to upgrade their property.
"As buyers are starting to regain confidence in the market, they are becoming more aware of what to look for when choosing a property and want to be sure that they are making the right investment," says Dean.
"Better quality homes are not only better places to live, but they benefit buyers in the long term with reduced running costs and by being more appealing to future purchasers."
As well as Dean and Joe's NHBC Pride in the Job awards, Morris has also recently been voted the UK's best quality mainstream house builder by new homebuyers, getting an approval rating of nearly 90%. Morris is also currently the national Green Housebuilder of the Year in recognition of is commitment to building sustainable developments which are sensitive to the needs of the local environment.
