Award winning homes
Our high standard of design, build quality, landscaping, site management and environmental commitment is regularly recognised by the house building industry.
Many of our schemes have won national awards for their distinction. Our Fulwood Park development in Preston, Lancashire, was recently awarded a maximum five stars in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards. Judges highlighted its beautifully landscaped grounds, children’s play area and ‘traditional village community’ feel.
Your New Home magazine also voted our Worthington Park scheme in Standish, near Wigan, best in class, praising our preservation of local architecture, the creation of natural habitats for protected species and a ‘unique collection of homes’.
Dozens of our schemes have been awarded the Greenleaf Standard – an industry symbol, which recognises high quality landscaping design on individual plots and the overall development.
Our site managers are also regular winners in the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job scheme – an initiative which recognises best practice in construction and site management. Only a small number of awards are made each year from a total of 18,000 managers. The professionalism of our site teams means Morris is one of the best performing companies for our size.
Meanwhile our efforts in sustainable design and construction have earned us the title ‘Green House Builder of the Year’ in the Green Construction Awards. Commenting on Morris, the panel of judges said we had made a ‘wholesale commitment’ to the green agenda and were ‘leading the way’ for other house builders.
