Morris Homes (Eastern) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a rapidly growing business based in Bedford.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for preparing, managing and controlling all site development costs and budgets.
• Maintain budget control
• Produce accurate bi-monthly valuations
• Procure sub-contractors, goods and materials
• Payment approvals and processing
• Prepare valuation reports
• Liaise with site team and sub-contractors
• Provide support to the commercial department

The Person:

• Ability to form strong working relationships
• Effective organisation and team working skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• IT skills
• Excellent negotiating skills

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:

• Experience within the house building sector
• HND or Degree qualified
• Driving Licence
