Purchase Ledger Clerk

Morris Homes North Limited, based in Wilmslow have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to deal with large volumes of invoice input and payments whilst playing a pivotal role in the development and success of the business.

Full Job Description

Responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk include:

• Scanning & registering invoices on the COINS system
• Invoice coding to costs & nominal ledgers
• Match invoices with orders and delivery tickets
• Price check and obtaining authorization
• Month end cheque runs
• Logging and sending out cheques
• Statement reconciliations
• Dealing with suppliers queries, telephone and e-mail
• Communication with internal department on all levels
• Filing
• Auditing and reporting PL workbench
• Supporting the PL Team leader with various ad-hoc duties when required
